Guess who’s ready for halloween and is also very angry with me, 530’s very own Stitch. So much for taking the 530 uniform into consideration, I think it brings the color out in her eyes.

I went to check out Mos Def Thursday night at the HOB Sunset. First, we needed to satisfy the hunger pains by driving by Mos 2. Not only are their chicken bowls awesomely tasty but I thought it was a fitting way to start the evening.

After a 2 hour drive we finally got to Hollywood, kill me! 

Kudos to HOB for having the Laker game on when we got there. Some two man act came on, what were they called again? Supernatural killed it as he always does (It’s the 3 MC’s).

We waited a long while for Mos Def to show, so I took the liberty to take a look around and get my drink on. The rambunctious chicks next to us thought these test tube shots were a wise decision. Yaa, not so much when you’re already sloppy. Take it easy there, chick.

Oh hey Kevin, I saw homie from the Six Flags commercial, dancing it up and dressed to the nines. I know he’s your favorite. 

This is the best shot I got of Mos Def all night. Apparently, his new stuff requires no lights.

Good times HOB for having super accessible bars. I was properly tired from drinking all night, I was forced to cut out a tad bit early. Oh Mighty Mos.. you didn’t do it for me like you used to but you still make my teeth sweat.

The fams and I swung by Proof Bar in Santa Ana, Friday night to check out Lovewright Co, A#, and Avnt/Grde’s Spring 09 Party.

The place was packed.

With pretty pictures on the wall.

A mighty fine collection of beverages.

A sweet set up in the back.

And not that I need an excuse, but I’m always good for one more round.

I must say the party was rightfully named, and it was definitely good times as always. ‘Til next time, ya kooks.

Not only does wine make me sleepy, but it makes me start seeing like this.

So I spent the rest of the evening out here.

Followed it up with some of this. I love me some shabu shabu.

And of course, my night wasn’t complete until we enjoyed some of this.

I couldn’t get the hot dog lady to give me $50 receipt for her delicious street meat, so you’re going to have to trust me on this one. My pals thank you 530.
